Nikki has been a member of the Allendale Veterinary staff since 2009.  Nikki was originally hired as one of our Client Care Representatives, but has recently transitioned into the position of veterinary assistant.  Within the past year she has been advancing her nursing skills and has become proficient in venipuncture techniques, radiology, patient restraint and various laboratory tests.  

Outside of work Nikki enjoys spending time with her son Nicholas and caring for her cat Midnight and her dog Bud.  She also enjoys watching movies, swimming, and dancing.
Jovie joined the Allendale Veterinary staff in January of 2012.  She had previously worked as a Veterinary Assistant at Raritan Animal Hospital.  She recently graduated from Rutgers University, achieving her B.S. in Animal Science and Public Health. Jovie has also gathered experience from volunteering at the New York Aquarium's Aquatic Animal Health Center as well as from working with the livestock on the Rutgers Animal Farm.  

Outside of the hospital, Jovie volunteers her time at the American Red Cross mainly with their Disaster Relief Services.  She enjoys reading, watching movies, and playing volleyball.  Jovie has two small dogs, Polo and Rugby that run her home in Bergen County.  
Jennifer Dino, CVT

Jennifer has been a full time staff member of Allendale Veterinary since 2005.  She has over 20 years experience in the field of veterinary medicine.  

Jennifer's undergraduate education focused on biology, but she also has completed extensive professional training in small animal dentistry, small animal behavior, and management.  Jenn volunteered her services at the Bergen County Zoo Animal Hospital for 2 years.  She has extensive knowledge and skills treating many exotic and domestic species and native wildlife.  Over the past few years she has transitioned from her primary nursing responsibilities into a practice management role.  She is the head technician in charge of dentistry and is also available for in-hospital behavior consultations.  

Outside the hospital, Jenn enjoys riding her motorcycles, hiking, reading and horsebackriding.  She also volunteers with the non-profit, no-kill dog and cat rescue called B.A.R.K.S in Sussex Co.  She shares her home in Sussex County with her boyfriend Marc, three small dogs, Gino, Olivia, Lou-Ann and her two cats, Isabella and Elizabeth.  




Tracy brings over 25 years experience in the animal care field to Allendale Veterinary.  Her experience includes both small animals and horses.  Tracy is the head of our surgical nursing team and plays a large role in staff training.  

As an outspoken proponent of animal welfare, she is a very active participant in Greyhound rescue organizations.  Her favorite organization which she avidly supports is the Ohio State Greyhound Health and Wellness Program.  She shares her home with two rescued greyhounds, Shannon and Stanley.  Tracy is a compassionate, highly skilled, invaluable member of our medical team.  



Michela Backman
Client Care Representitive
Lauren became a part of Allendale Veterinary in August 2012.  After graduating from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Lauren wanted to pursue a career in veterinary nursing. She has 5 years experience in the field, but has had a long history of working with animals in various environments from boarding facilities to grooming salons.

Lauren has been a lifelong animal lover and currently shares her home with two chihuahua's. A long-haired named Roman and a short-haired named Luna.
Originally from London, England, Michela has been a member of the Allendale Veterinary Hospital staff since 2005. Active in the animal care field for over 15 years, she brings valuable experience to the hospital.

Michela is busy raising her two boys - Luke and Andrew with her husband Bob. She enjoys family outings to soccer and baseball games and looks forward to traveling back to Europe to visit family.  In addition to her two sons and husband, Michela takes care of her cat Bravo, who has been the family pet for over 17 years.

Daria joined Allendale Veterinary in February of 2013.  She brings 4 years of Veterinary Technician/ Assistant experience, as well as 8 years of valuable customer service skills. 

Daria is also a professional makeup artist of 9 years and loves doing editorial, bridal, and runway makeup in her spare time. She loves spending her days off with her Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Baxter, daughter Avery, son Sam and husband Marc.
